Action Steps
Answer this question – What one book would you recommend to others?
Session Transcript
Lily: Now tell us what you’ve read that our listeners should read and why?
Michael: Several great books as what most leaders on your podcast here. These are things that were very pivotal works for me. Number one, “Necessary Endings” by Henry Cloud, is a great book. Henry Cloud came out of the psychology world, is now an executive coach for large companies, large organizations. In that book, he talks about, sometimes we prolong relationships or we even prolong staying in an organization for money, or because there’s something we’re getting out of the organization. Sometimes we just need to make a clean break and move on. It gives a way to do that without running from the problem, great book.
We’ve mentioned John Eldredge and “Wild at Heart”.
Lily: I love that book.
Michael: I’m glad you’ve read it. Most people start reading and say “Hey, this is a guy’s, this is all about macho guys and being a man and sword fighting and all that stuff.” It’s not. It’s really about being the authentic person that you were born to be.
Lily: I’ve had people say that this is a guy’s book, but it spoke to my heart. Also, I have a son and it helps me understand too some perspectives that my husband has so it’s a great book.
Michael: Yeah, great thought. I agree, awesome.
Lily: So, “Necessary Endings” and “Wild at Heart.” Thank you so much.[/text_block]
